Emergency Logistics to Save a Life with Ultra - Rare Blood

The Task

This was a race against time for a patient in critical condition, illustrating the human impact of precision logistics. A critically ill patient in an ICU in Howrah, Kolkata, urgently needed a life-saving transfusion of the ultrarare Bombay Rh - Negative blood group.

The Challenge

The challenge was immediate and absolute: locate, retrieve, and transport the irreplaceable unit while strictly preserving its viability. A dedicated rapid response team successfully transported the essential blood units under strict 2–8°C cold chain conditions from Hyderabad to Kolkata.

The Completion

Executing the mission in under 18 hours — a feat of precision logistics—the team delivered the irreplaceable material directly to the surgical team on time, enabling an immediate, life - saving operation and saving the patient’s life.

The Impact

This story is a powerful demonstration of our commitment to prioritizing patient outcomes when every second and every degree of temperature counts. The logistical precision directly translates into a second chance for a human life.
